Be Aware:
Natural Vegetation such as leaves, brush, fields, hay or straw and household waste may be burned. All other material such as buildings, tires, construction waste, petroleum products, furniture, etc. are not to be burned without approval from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Call DNR at 573-634-2436 for approval.
It is important to have the latest and most updated weather conditions available before starting the burn. Wind direction and speed should be taken into account to prevent smoke from hindering any roadways and to prevent fire from becoming out of control.
